Lifecare Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric Program

Our mission is to:

  • Provide treatment for individuals who do not require inpatient or partial hospitalization intensity.
  • Treat patients in a manner that will enhance self-confidence and independence.
  • Advocate acceptance of these persons in their families through education of families and the general public.
  • Treat the patient in the least restrictive environment.

Confidentiality

We respect the dignity and privacy of each person in our programs. No private information about our patients is shared outside our program staff. Additionally, we expect our patients not to discuss outside the program any information learned about others in the program. This enables every patient to feel safe to talk about their personal life problems in a safe therapeutic environment.

Signs and Symptoms

A variety of emotional issues and illnesses are treated in our Intensive Outpatient Program. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Clinical Depression
  • Manic Depressive Disorder
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Schizophrenia
  • Psychosis
  • Confusion
  • Social Withdrawal

Admission Procedure

Please call (318) 878-0919 and ask for the Program Manager to schedule a free confidential assessment to determine treatment needs. Upon completion of the assessment, a recommendation will be made for treatment either in one of our programs or a referral may be made. If the individual is admitted to the Intensive Outpatient Program, a tour of the facility is conducted, followed by an introduction to all staff. The patient will receive a copy of the program schedule and is oriented to the various groups.

Our medically supervised program provides the services of physicians, nurses, social workers, and other professionals who are experienced in improving the quality of life for those in need.

The Delhi Hospital Lifecare Intensive Outpatient Program is a service provided each Monday through Thursday from 10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m.

The mission of Richland Transportation Services is to improve access to quality health care for our patients, the community, and Northeast Louisiana.

Service
Richland Transportation Services is available to assist those in our area with transportation to medical appointments according to scheduling and availability of transportation vehicles.

Scheduling
To schedule transportation, you may call medical dispatch at 1-800-259-1835. Please make sure you have your Medicaid number available at the time of the call. If you have any questions, please call (318) 878-6444, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Twenty-four (24) hours advanced notice is preferred.
