The Richland Awareness Campaign (TRAC)
Currently Delhi Hospital employees are participating in year three of the hospital's "Wellness Initiative" with the "SMART Goals" (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-Limited) This phase will allow participants to set their own health improvement goals based on what each individual thinks is most important and realistically achievale. During this phase employees set 3 sub goals which will ulitimately lead to their overall goal. RPH advocates that the ultimate prize is always the health of their employees.
Growing Up Fit Together is a program targeting childhood obesity in first, second and third grade rural classrooms throughout Louisiana. Through the combination of classroom education, in-class exercise routines and parental involvement, students are learning to make healthier choices at younger ages.
